Aq-Qaleh Day Market
Aq-Qaleh or White Fort,
in Turki, is a small market town in the heart of Turkeman steppe, 12 miles
north of Gorgan. Early each Thursday morning Yamut Turkemans from
the surrounding countryside assemble there for the weekly market.
