Looking for ELLIS ("Sunnoo") DAVID, who lives in the Stamford Hill area of North London. I knew Ellis and his family when they were living in Calcutta in 1963: mother Hannah, sisters Flower and Sheila. This family were Iraqi Jews; Ellis was an electrician, or electrical engineer; today he would be in his sixties.
Looking for FRANK MCADAM, ex-Penang in the early 1960s; Frank worked in McAlister Shipping and was married to Anne, a Chinese girl; there was a baby at that time. It is possible that they returned to the UK (England or Scotland). Frank would be in his sixties now.
Looking for JOAN NIXON, whom I knew as a traveller in India in early 1963 after she had returned from a period in Burma. At that time Joan lived in London SW1; in the 1950s she worked as a teacher of English for the Overseas Language Centre. It is very likely that she has long-since married and thus would have changed her surname; she would be in her early sixties.
Looking for BOB ROMER, who in the mid-1960s was living in Vancouver, British Columbia, and later Calgary, Alberta. Bob returned to the UK in 1967, having been badly injured in a fall in Calgary. His family home was May Cottage in Sandridge, near St Albans, but that residence has long since been sold. Bob is of ruddy complexion, and is heavily built; he would be in his early sixties.
Looking for ERIC ANDERSON, New Zealander. Eric was in the Penn Overland Coach group that travelled UK to India in 1962; I met him in Colombo. At that time he lived in Rangatira Road, Birkdale, Auckland, but he apparently no longer lives there. Eric is tall, fair, and well-built, and is about sixty years old.
Looking for BOB TEMPLE, New Zealander, who emigrated with me from the UK to Canada in late 1965 on the "Princess of Canada"; we landed in Montreal in November. I moved on to Vancouver, and we lost touch. Bob might later have returned to New Zealand, but I do not know his home town. He is of medium height, and at that time his hair was dark; he'd be about sixty now.
Looking for JEFF WARD, whom I met in Istanbul in late 1963. He was travelling on a pushbike and I was on a motorbike. Jeff's last known address was 58 Ellesmere Road, Saltley, Birmingham 8, but this seems to be no longer functional. Jeff was of fair complexion, with sandy hair; he would be in his late fifties-early sixties today.
